Are contracts and agreements signed electronically with RSign legally binding?
Yes. Since July 2016, the eIDAS Regulation, a Europe-wide uniform basis for verifiable electronic business processes, has been in force in Europe. Although Switzerland is not a member of the EU, it has its own federal law, the ZertES, which is compatible with eIDAS.
How to sign a contract with RSign electronically?
The signatory is automatically guided through the document step-by-step via a checklist until the document is fully completed and legally signed.
Can a document be signed by more than one person?
Yes, multi-party signatures in individual order are possible. To do this, select the function "Sign sequentially" and define the order of the signatories according to your processes.
Can contracts also be rejected?
Yes, contracts can also be rejected by the signatory.
